Shogun’s is located Madison Avenue, in the same strip mall as Petco and Michaels. Despite a demure exterior, Shogun does a wonderful job of creating a great atmosphere with sophisticated and stylish décor that seems inspired by eastern influences. The restaurant itself has a great floor plan with hibachi grills set up in the front half of the restaurant, tables in the back half, and a wall-length bar on the left side.

According to its website, Shogun serves authentic Japanese food. Their main dishes include sushi, sashimi, hibachi, and Japanese noodles and the appetizers are unique in style and variety. With an extensive menu, you will never run out of new things to try.

Daily lunch specials include Maki Lunch, where you can choose any 2 rolls from a list of 30 for $8.95, or choose any three for only $11.95. Maki Lunches are served with either Miso soup or a salad.

Shogun also offers excellent lunch specials, great happy hour prices and a wide alcoholic beverage selection.

Happy hours at Shogun are Monday to Friday 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Select appetizers, including edamame and fried rice, are as inexpensive as $2. Select alcoholic beverages are also bargain deals, with beer and house wines costing as little as $2, and sakes costing $4.50 or less.
