Mel Crane cleans shop after 36 years at MSU

Mel Crane, a Minnesota State University, Minnesota janitor, will be retiring after 36 and a half years of service at MNSU.

Crane started his position in the August of 1979 and has faithfully stayed at MNSU. He has since made many friends at MNSU and is always known to provide a cheerful hello and a smiling face.

Yohanes Ashenafi, a student at MNSU, said, “He is the greatest person in the universe (besides Jesus).”
Crane enjoys riding his motorcycle in his free time.
