Be sure to check out the Student Events Team “Student Night” being hosted at the Mankato WowZone this upcoming Saturday night! What a better way to spend the night then enjoying it with your friends, (and making new ones) while playing unlimited bowling, laser tag, and mini golf?

WowZone, located at 2030 Adams Street, is a beloved Mankato landmark with great food and activities everyone can enjoy. This Saturday, Nov. 10 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. MNSU students can get free admission. “I love going to the Wow Zone with my friends, and I cannot wait to go for free,” said Alex Fry, Stomper’s Cinema Chair. Unlimited arcade will be 10 dollars. There will also be live music from MavHouse Records. Food and drink will be available for purchase, outside food or drinks are not allowed.

Don’t have a ride? Now you have no excuse! Busses will be running from WowZone, off campus housing, and locations around campus all night–free with your mavcard. “I’m glad I have a way to get there without driving,” said team member Heather Shuster.

This is the first time the Student Events Team will be having an event like this, and they are very excited to have the opportunity to get students introduced to different activities available around Mankato.

Student Events Team VP Lucas Arndt stated, “Events like this have a lot of components and I think the hardest part of organizing this event is to think of the many things that could happen, and be prepared to handle them. It is rewarding to see students come and enjoy the events and to see them come full circle.”

Lucas would also like to give a special “Thank you!” to Pam and Allison from the WowZone for being so open and flexible to the idea and making this idea come true.
