I've often been told that a college experience isn't complete until you have lived in a dorm for a period of time. I was told you meet a lot of people and the style of community living mixed with independence is beneficial for a student to have. I was also made to believe dorms offer all of the amenities one could ask for: kitchenware, showers and laundry facilities.

I could have gone with the intellectual term "abolish" in referring to the Federal Income Tax but that term does so little justice.
The Income Tax is an obtrusive and counter productive monster than needs to be slain. It needs to be torn down and spit on in the same manner as our revolutionary ancestors and founders scoffed at the prospect of the stamp act or paying a tax on tea imported from England.

Paris has the Eiffel Tower. London has Buckingham Palace. Rome has the Vatican. Iowa has the Iowa State Fair. It all began in an open six-acre field in Fairfield in 1854. The snake exhibit, the grain-yield competition - a five-acre tract in Polk County won with an average yield of nearly 140 bushels per acre - and a women's horse-riding competition were among the spectacles available to the first fairgoers.
