The end of summer festivals and multimillion-dollar blockbusters along with the start of school can deflate any student's morale. Luckily, Milwaukee offers plenty of opportunities to reduce any unwanted stress this fall. An abundance of films, concerts, art exhibits, plays and more will make their way to the Brew City.

Classes are right around the corner, but before they begin, students can kick off the year with a little fun at Big Red Welcome.

One of Omaha's biggest claims to fame, Conor Oberst, spent a month last winter in Tepoztlán in the providence of Morales, Mexico, recording his newest record. Oberst's self-titled album was released Aug. 5.
But wait, who's this Mystic Valley Band? And why is the album on Merge Records instead of Saddle Creek? No more Bright Eyes?
Don't get your thrift store shirt in a knot, Oberst still delivers that folk rock and country sound Bright Eyes fans have come to love.

Being a bartender means I deal with an interesting conglomerate of people.
Some people overtip (rare) and some people that undertip (not so rare).
Some people order the same thing every trip to the bar, and some always order something new and interesting.
