Talk to the average Macalester senior about his/her post-graduate plans, and judging from what I've seen, I'd say chances are you'll get one of three responses:

First, a well-orchestrated life-plan. This is a sign of incipient adulthood. It's usually delivered in a voice that sounds unusually self-confident, and may be followed by a grin of self-satisfaction.
