Regression of MSU
A Poem
Issue date: 1/29/08
Section: Letters to the Editor
Reversing forty years of good progressive thought
Ignoring the principles as youths we valiantly fought
Hearing rhetoric of the prohibitionists and radical right
Wimpishly giving in to them without any spirited fight
Listening to the beats of the radical's drums
The more reactionary our response becomes
Putting more distance from a solution we seek
Growing troubles with each regressive tweak
