Indoor Track and Field
Both the men's and women's indoor track and field teams finished first last weekend.
The men finished with 163 points, with numerous first-place finishes.
Senior Nate Pieper set a school record in the 300-meter dash, with a time of 34.91 seconds, finishing first.
The Maverick women scored 96 points during the weekend, with seven first-place finishes, two from Katelin Rains, and two from freshman Linnelle Clark.
Swimming and Diving
The MSU men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed in the Minnesota Challenge and USD Diving Invite last weekend, with many top-10 finishes.
Junior Scott Kent finished sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke, with a time of 1:00.13. One of the best performances of the weekend came from the 200-yard medley relay team, finishing fourth.
Ashley Baer had the highest finish of any Maverick, with a third place finish in the 100-yard freestyle.
Tennis
The women's team went 3-0 over the weekend, beating both Southwest Minnesota State and Winona State 5-4 and beating Lewis University 9-0.
The men's tennis team split its matches in Winona last weekend. The men started the weekend beating LU 9-0, but lost to WSU 8-1.
