As the riots in Tibet continue, Tibetan MSU students cautiously reach out to their families; reflect on religious, political freedom; hope to spread awareness
Turmoil in Tibet has been torturing the region in what an article in CNN called, "the longest-running uprising in Tibet against Chinese rule in 20 years." Collisions have been occurring between anti-Chinese protesters all over Tibet since early March, and though tucked away safe in the states might make the tragedy seem far away, there are some at Minnesota State to whom the issue hits much closer to home.… Post the First Comment

Silent epidemic

HPV is now the No. 1 sexually transmitted infection, yet the majority of those infected don't even know it
Right now, about 20 million Americans are infected with the Human Papillomavirus, or HPV, and that number is rapidly on the rise. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, each year genital HPV infects another 6.2 million people and it is estimated about 74 percent of these new infections occur in 15 to 24-year-olds.… 3 Comments
