Here we are for another school year. Not one part of me is excited for this. For the first month it’s nice seeing people we haven’t talked to all summer, but then we realize while having swamp-ass in class and regretting drinking last night, why we haven’t talked to them all summer.

In February, the web site Lamebook, which chronicles the best and worst of Facebook encounters, found an interaction between parent and child that perfectly represents one (of many) of the dilemmas occurring on the social networking site. The search for internships can be disheartening for college students, as more and more employers are offering unpaid internships. A recent article from The New York Times explores the growth of unpaid internships and sheds light on some pretty troubling circumstances for students that have led states such as Oregon and California to investigate and fine employers for not paying interns.
