Movie review: Office Christmas Party

What would you do to save your job?

What if the best and thorough pitch did not meet the standards of the potential buyer, and then what would you do? Why not throw the biggest office Christmas party to influence the potential buyer to purchase and close a deal to save your company. Office Christmas Party takes place in Chicago as we focus on the company Zenotek.

When the CEO, Carol, (Jennifer Aniston) tries to close her hard-partying brother’s branch, Clay (T.J. Miller) and his Chief Technical Officer, Josh, (Jason Bateman) must rally their co-workers and host an epic office Christmas party in an effort to impress a potential client and close a sale that will save their jobs. This movie is another raunchy American comedy about partying hard and finding your inner cool.

The film has plenty of wit with funny jokes, one liners and comedy chemistry between the cast, all while they party with alcohol and drugs. Aside from a little bit of a serious plot and theme of saving jobs, the film is a laugh feast of good times and vices as sure subplots. It is overall a well-done comedy that does have a serious theme of keeping jobs yet it’s carried by the vices of good times and spiced up nice with sex appeal. It is fun and embedded with laughter.

The movie is pretty funny, and the cast is awesome in it. It is well made and has a great premise. The cast includes Jennifer Aniston, T.J. Miller, Jason Bateman, Olivia Munn, Kate McKinnon, Courtney B. Vance, Jillian Bell, and Rob Corddry.

The movie is entertaining with its crude and adult humor. The movie did start off slow but as it progressed, it got much better by the end of the film.
