The Sidelines: James vs. Ramos (Boxing at The Armory)

Boxing returned to The Armory in Downtown Minneapolis after 45 years, with Jamal “Shango” James headlining the main event bout against Abel Ramos. James won the 10-round bout by majority decision, while Edner “Cherry Bomb” Cherry won the co-main event by unanimous decision over Dennis “The Surgeon” Galarza. And 18-year-old Joey Spencer made his television debut by knocking out Ousmane Sylla in under a minute.
