A new year means a new you. When trying to stay healthy and active, no other workout facility in the city compares to the YMCA’s Mankato location.
For $44 a month, college students and adults will get access to a variety of services including a Wi-Fi, a track, gymnasiums, a recreation room, a pool and more than 90 workout machines. Additionally, YMCA offers over 75 classes every week to members. Another benefit for members is that their membership can be used to get into any YMCA.
If you aren’t able to afford $44 a month, the YMCA offers financial assistance. According to the its website, contributions to the United Way and Strong Kids Campaign have made reduced membership rates possible for those who qualify after filling out an application.
For those who don’t want to pay a monthly fee, there are also day passes available, but individuals are limited to only a few every year. Non-members can also come in with members and pay $2 to use the facility. Additionally, there are a number of free group exercise classes available. Visit mankatoymca.org to see a schedule.
