MNSU student passes away

A 19-year-old woman died in her dorm room Tuesday night. 

The woman lived in the Crawford Residence Hall of Minnesota State University, Mankato where first responders and police arrived on scene around 6:30 p.m.

CPR was preformed, according to the email sent out to students and staff of MNSU. The efforts to resuscitate her were unseccessful. 

There is no evidence of foul play and no information on what exactly caused the student’s death.

Her body has been taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
